Promising Bitcoin Center, Adams Elected Mayor of New York

Eric Adams, who promised to make New York a Bitcoin hub if elected, won the mayoral election.

New York’s 110th mayor has become 61-year-old Democratic candidate Eric Adams.

Adams, who was formerly the superintendent of the New York City Police Department and mayor of Brooklyn, will take over from Bill de Blasio early next year.

Adams, who introduced himself as a blue-collar and won by a margin against his Republican opponent, Curtis Sliwa, said in his statements in June 2021 that New Yorkers “I will see a completely different city in a year” he had said.
