Selenski thanks for fighter jet decision: “I’m very happy”
After arriving at the G7 summit, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked his allies for paving the way for the delivery of fighter jets in principle. “I’m very happy,” he told ZDF on Saturday. The decision will help people in Ukraine protect their homes and families.
Selenski made it clear that he did not expect a timely delivery. “I don’t think the decision means we’re going to have all those defenses tomorrow. We must prepare. But still: It is a great decision.”
