Neuuppin Investigators have nationwide searched rooms of the climate activists of the group “Last Generation”. According to the Neuruppin public prosecutor’s office, there are eleven objects in several federal states. “A little more than eleven people” are being investigated for disrupting public services, said prosecutor Cyrill Klement in Neuruppin in Brandenburg on Tuesday. However, the suspicion of the formation of a criminal organization is also being examined. First the “BZ” had reported.
According to Klement, the background to this are several attacks by climate activists since April on plants at the PCK Schwedt refinery. Among other things, the oil supply was interrupted. In some cases it was just an attempt.

The group “Last Generation” confirmed the searches on Twitter: laptops, mobile phones and posters had been confiscated. At the same time, the activists point out that they will “continue unchanged” with their protests.
