The attackers sent a download link in their fake emails saying that users’ data was compromised and that they should install the latest Trezor update.

Company Investigates Attacks

The company announced that they are investigating the situation after users contacted them. According to the company’s statement, the problem was caused by a newsletter subscription system hosted by MailChimp. It was learned that the e-mail addresses of the users were leaked by the hackers who attacked MailChimp.
