Peugeot is preparing to introduce the E-308 model, the electric version of the 308, to the Turkish market. The vehicle, which will go on sale in Turkey as of November 2023, aims to take the brand’s claim in the compact hatchback segment to the next level. We had the opportunity to preview the Peugeot E-308 GT model and took it for a test drive.

The new Peugeot E-308 has an electric motor that produces 115 kW (156 HP) and has a range of over 400 km according to WLTP Combined testing. This engine, which has no CO2 emissions and offers a quiet ride, produces 270 Nm of torque.
The new generation Lithium Ion battery with high voltage (51 kWh usage) operates at 375 volts and offers a range of 510-525 km in the city and 410-416 km in the combined range. Acceleration of the E-308 from 0 to 100 km/h takes 10.5 seconds, while its maximum speed reaches 170 km/h. In addition, it achieves a significant success in terms of efficiency by keeping energy consumption to a minimum, consuming only 15.1 kWh per 100 km.

Drivers can choose between three different driving modes: “ECO”, “NORMAL” and “SPORT”. Additionally, thanks to the “BRAKE” mode, they can optimize energy recovery and experience one-pedal driving.
The integrated three-phase charger has a power rating of 11 kW and this charging socket is compatible with all modes. While it takes only 30 minutes to charge from zero to 80 percent at a fast charging point, charging time from 0 to 80 percent with Wallbox takes 5 hours.
Technologies such as Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-Go Function, Blind Spot Warning System and Reverse Traffic Warning System offer a safe driving experience. In addition, many innovations such as the dynamic atmosphere added by the brand’s new logo, the new generation i-Cockpit and the 10-inch touchscreen multimedia screen take the vehicle to a new level.
