Outages in Giant Cryptocurrency Exchange: The Official Statement Has Arrived!

Cryptocurrency exchange Gemini suffered a second outage in the past seven days.

According to the exchange’s status page, some systems are currently experiencing outages. The exchange said it was “investigating potential notices of service disruptions,” and added: “All customer accounts and funds are completely safe. Follow for other updates.

Cryptocurrency Exchange Gemini Reports That They Are Working On Outage

The official Twitter account of the exchange announced that the exchange has entered maintenance mode to investigate an app recovery issue. He added that his team is working on dealing with the case.

On December 16, the stock market was closed for hours due to scheduled maintenance, which took more than three hours.

Gemini suffered an outage on November 16 due to an Amazon Web Services EBS outage in one of its primary databases.

On the official Twitter account of the stock market, the following was written about the development:

“We are entering maintenance mode while investigating an app recovery issue. Our team is working diligently to fix this issue and we expect all systems to be back online shortly.

We are working on a solution to the app recovery issue we have identified and expect all systems to be back online shortly. All Gemini client accounts and funds remain completely secure.”

Meanwhile, rival bitcoin exchanges OKX and Gate.io also recently experienced withdrawal issues due to cloud service provider issues. After hours of trouble due to the problem from Alibaba, OKX said that it would work with different cloud providers.
