Oldest Galaxy Ever Discovered Detected

Scientists announced that they discovered the farthest galaxy to humanity after 1,200 hours of observation with the help of four powerful telescopes. The galaxy was recorded as the oldest galaxy discovered, being 13.5 billion light years away from our Earth.

Even the part of the infinite universe that we can only observe presents us with new surprises every day. Scientists in this field, which we call ‘only we can observe’, with a diameter of about 93 billion light years, this time we are in. The farthest galaxy from the Milky Way managed to discover. The first information about the galaxy was quite interesting.

Scientists’ new discovery of the new galaxy called ‘HD1’ 13.5 billion light years from Earth was declared. While there are no clear findings about the type and features of the galaxy, according to another shared information, this galaxy, Almost 330 million years after the Big Bang happened. So the galaxy is too old for our universe.

It was just a faint red dot among the 700,000 objects:

Today’s technology, unfortunately, still does not allow us to observe or even detect distant galaxies such as HD1 in detail. Because even quasars, the brightest celestial bodies in the universe, lose their brightness in the darkness of the universe at such a distance. The discovery of HD1 in total thanks to four powerful optical and infrared telescopes took place.

Galaxy, Subaru Telescope, VISTA Telescope, UK Infrared Telescope and Spitzer Space Telescope After 1,200 hours of observation showed itself. What betrayed the galaxy was the expected redness of galaxies this far away. This red light, which appeared among about 700 thousand objects, created excitement in scientists.

Scientists will be available very soon and will be responsible for investigating the first moments of the universe. With the James Webb Space Telescope to learn more about this galaxy is planning.
