Nothing Phone (2a) update makes the phone more useful

The new phone released by Nothing comes out of the box with Nothing OS 2.5 operating system with Android 14 version. Additionally, the company announced that it will release three major Android system updates and monthly security updates to the device for four years. Like its other phones Phone (1) and Phone (2), Phone (2a) will also become more stable with these updates.

Latest update released by the phone manufacturer Nothing OS 2.5.3It comes with a file size of 535 megabytes for Phone (2a). According to the update notes, the Nothing Phone update comes with the new Glyph feature, improved call and connection quality, and bug fixes.

• When taking continuous screenshots, the preview of the previous screenshot now automatically disappears.
• Added three levels of haptics for haptic feedback.

• Application launch animations have been made even smoother.
• Optimized certain UI issues.
• The overall touchscreen experience has been improved.

• Added shortcut widget for camera app.
• Ultra HDR feature support has been introduced in Camera, supporting the XDR imaging effect for photos.
• Camera watermark now supports displaying focal length.
• The effect of raw HDR photography has been improved.
• Improved color saturation.
• The clarity of front camera photos has been improved.
• Camera OIS/EIS effects have been optimized.
• Improved camera app loading speed and overall performance.

Bug fixes

• Fixed the issue where the Pedometer widget would reset after changing time zones.
• Fixed an issue where app icons would not display on the home screen after swiping up to unlock in certain scenarios.
• Fixed an intermittent issue where fingerprint unlocking would not respond when the screen is off.
• The occasional black screen issue in the lock screen interface has been resolved.
