No onset of winter in sight – The weekend will be gray and cloudy – News

Good news for everyone who was afraid of the onset of winter! The Sankt-Martins-Hoch remains and gives us typical November weather even for the weekend: gray, rainy and uncomfortable. But there is one thing it doesn’t get: cold.

Sun, rain and fog fight for supremacy day after day. Sometimes the fog wins, sometimes the sun and sometimes the rain – poor weather in Germany, but far from the onset of winter.

It will be particularly dingy on Saturday. Then rain clouds come in from the west and make for an uncomfortable November Saturday. 5 to 10 liters of rain per square meter can fall. In the rest of the country, however, it remains dry.

“The weather will stay relaxed for at least another week. From today’s point of view, a cooling is only indicated for the period after November 20th, and even then there is currently no trace of a massive onset of winter right down to the very bottom in the weather models ”, says graduate meteorologist Dominik Jung from the weather service Q.met.

According to Jung, there is still a small possibility for the November winter: “On the 1st of Advent it could get colder and maybe then snowflakes down to the lower ground will be possible. But the weather models don’t give anything else this morning either. We are far from wintering with a blanket of snow and permafrost in the lowlands. ”

This is how it will continue in the coming days:

Friday: 4 to 11 degrees, mix of sun and clouds, dry

Saturday: 7 to 12 degrees, rain is coming from the west, it gets wet, to the east it is dry

Sunday: 8 to 12 degrees, again calm high pressure weather, mix of sun and clouds

Monday: 6 to 11 degrees, sometimes sun, sometimes fog, typically November

Tuesday: 6 to 10 degrees, dry alternation of sun, clouds and fog

Wednesday: 7 to 10 degrees, mixed, sometimes sun, sometimes clouds or fog
