Nintendo took action to increase the games on the Switch console!

Wii Sports coming as Switch Sports in April

Nintendo will release some of the Wii Sports games that have become classics under the name Nintendo Switch Sports. There will be an online gaming test period just before the release of the games, which will arrive on April 29. The testing process will take place on February 18-20.

The mega hit family sports game Wii Sports will be updated as a sequel to the original Wii game. With the update, there will be 6 game content, including the most played games such as tennis, bowling and chambara in Wii Sports games. Nintendo also announced updates to the game in 2022. Two Wii Sports games will be coming, one in the summer and one in the fall.

Nintendo Switch is increasing its popularity day by day on a global basis. So much so that it has surpassed the sales figures of the Wii game console, which has been the flagship of the company for years. Since its release in 2017, the game console has made 103 million sales, making it the first portable game console to pass the 100 million mark in a short time.

In this period when portable game consoles increase their popularity, a big competitor is coming to Switch. Valve’s Steam Deck handheld game console will be released on February 25. In the light of the leaked information, expectations from the console are high, so much so that many analysts state that the balances in the console world may change with this product.
