The new Volkswagen Amarok was introduced at an event in Cape Town. The new Amarok, which will be sold simultaneously in Turkey and Europe, will be launched in the last quarter of 2023. Amarok, which will come with four hardware packages, will offer more equipment and options to its users compared to its previous generations.

With significant increases in its dimensions and carrying capacity, the Amarok is now 96 mm longer than its previous generation. With a significant increase in the wheelbase of 173 mm, Amarok now has a 3270 mm wheelbase with these new size increases.

These size increases were also reflected in the off-road performance of the New Amarok. Thanks to its renewed structure, Amarok has an approach angle of 30 degrees and a departure angle of 26 degrees. In addition, Amarok, which can carry loads up to 1.19 tons, has also increased its towing capacity. The traction capacity of the new Amarok has increased by up to 3.5 tons.

In the design part, Amarok has had its share of the Volkswagen design language that has emerged in recent years. With a flatter front bumper and grilles, the Amarok has upgraded bumpers like other competitors on the market. In this way, the vehicle offers a more comfortable use in difficult terrain conditions.

When we come to the back, we see the Mercedes-Benz X Class breezes. The rear taillights, positioned similarly to those in the X Class, resemble a half-crescent shape. In previous versions, the word “Amarok” stood in the form of a logo in the right corner, but now it is embroidered on the case cover of the vehicle.

When we come to the interior, the Amarok has a multimedia screen right in the middle of the dashboard. All functions of the vehicle are controlled via this screen, except for the off-road modes. Trailer modes in terrain conditions, etc. its features are controlled via a round keypad just in front of the center console. It also now features the New Amarok ghost instrument cluster.
