New phone to Vivo’s series full of firsts: NEX 5 becomes clear

Vivo, which has recently started to become popular in our country, but appealing to large masses in the global market for years, brings new breath to the sector, especially with its NEX series. Introducing the first NEX model in 2018, the company adds many new technologies to our lives with this family, while making its own brand more prestigious. As a matter of fact, the under-screen fingerprint sensor and pop-up camera technologies were included in the phones of this family for the first time.

Introducing the first NEX series phones with the names NEX S and NEX A about four years ago, Vivo included two technologies we had not seen before in the phones. Both phones had an under-display fingerprint sensor, which was expected from companies like Apple and Samsung at the time. In addition, motorized pop-up cameras were preferred for the front camera. However, in the following years, pop-up cameras were removed from users. The information that emerged today was about the details of the Vivo NEX 5 device.

The price of the budget-friendly Vivo T1 5G has been revealed

Vivo will soon launch global versions of the T1 5G, which it showcased in November 2021. The price of the smartphone has also been revealed.

Vivo NEX 5 can do reverse corner

Vivo NEX 5, which has appeared before and created excitement like previous NEX models, may not give what is expected this time. A frameless structure and under-screen front camera support were expected on the phone, which was first shown in 2020 and claimed to be similar to the APEX model, which is a concept device.

A teaser image that emerged today ended these expectations. So much so that the poster not only brought the phone to light in terms of design, but also presented information about the promotion date to the users. Looking at the image, quite different frames from APEX above and below draw attention, while a classic front camera setup announced that we will not see innovative initiatives in the new NEX 5.

Apart from these, a non-classical design language was adopted at the rear. A round camera installation is placed on the left side of a rectangular sheet, and Vivo and Zeiss logos are placed on the right side. While the telephoto camera of the phone has Zeiss signature, Samsung’s ISOCELL GN1 sensor was used in the main camera. Finally, the leaked image included the phrase 2022.02. This shows that the phone can be introduced in February.

So what do you think about Vivo? Do you think the Vivo NEX 5 model can provide surprises to the user as in previous phones? Or will this series gradually become a classic like the OPPO Find series? You can specify in the comments…
