New feature for those who are obsessed with privacy from WhatsApp

Last year, WhatsApp updated the timed messages feature, which allows chats to be deleted within a certain period of time. ‘default message duration’ offered the option. This feature, depending on the user’s preference, allows chats to start automatically when the timed message is open.

When the default message duration is enabled, it only affects new chats. In chats where the timed message is turned off, it is necessary to activate it manually. WhatsApp released for Android With beta version 2.22.11.11 started testing a feature that would make it easier to activate message duration in existing chats.

WhatsApp announced: A new era begins in groups!

WhatsApp has recently officially announced new features that will take the user experience to the next level.

WhatsApp expands ‘default message duration’

According to WABetaInfo, which reveals what’s coming to WhatsApp, it’s coming soon. Multiple chats can be converted to timed messages. When the feature, which will be added to the privacy settings, becomes available, you will be able to collectively select the chats in your conversation history and set the message duration for all of them at the same time.

With timed messages, messages sent in a chat can be set to disappear after 24 hours, 7 days or 90 days. It was recently revealed that WhatsApp has developed the “Hide this message” feature, which allows to cancel the disappearance of a message. However, it is not yet available for use as it is under development.

A feature developed by WhatsApp is released shortly after its release. You can also experience the innovations in advance by installing the beta version of the application on your Android device via the Google Play Store. Unfortunately, iPhone users do not have this option, as WhatsApp does not accept new beta members on iOS.
