AMD introduced the AMD Ryzen 7000 series desktop processors last year, powered by the Zen 4 architecture. Wanting to continue its success, the company continues to work on AMD Ryzen 7000G, which is the continuation of the series. New details about the series continue to emerge.
AMD Ryzen 7000G Series includes “Phoenix 2” based models
Many previous leaks have said that AMD is working on a series of APUs based on its new AM5. It has been written many times that the processors will be part of the Phoenix family. However, when we look at the details revealed today, we see the phrase “Phoenix 2” about the series.
When we look at Phoenix 2, we can say that it is physically smaller. Additionally, it includes a CPU with two “Zen 4” and four “Zen 4c” cores. While the Pro 7500G and standard 7500G are expected to have a full 2+4 core configuration, the 7300G is likely to have a 2+2 core configuration. On the other hand, OPN codes appeared on the internet. These are listed as follows;
- Ryzen 5 PRO 7500G (100-000001183-00)
- Ryzen 5 7500G (100-00000931-00)
- Ryzen 3 7300G (100-000001187-00)
