According to Bloomberg, US District Judge Richard A. Jones ruled that the world’s largest cryptocurrency CZ, founder and former CEO of Binance exchange It decided that he should notify the travel court in the country and surrender his passport.
With the court’s final decision C.Z.‘s bail conditions were further restricted. The court also reminded that CZ cannot leave the USA before a decision is made about him.
As you may recall, CZ pleaded guilty to violating US anti-money laundering measures in November. With this admission, CZ faced up to 18 months in prison. At this point, CZ’s sentence is planned to be given in April.
