The world’s leading derivatives market CME Group, new Bitcoin (BTC)) announced that it will launch futures activity contracts.
CME Group has announced that the contract package, which it says is pending regulatory review, has been expanded to include Bitcoin futures and will launch on March 13.
Head of Global Equity and Foreign Exchange Products, CME Group Tim McCourt In his statement he said:
“Our new event contracts for bitcoin futures provide a highly transparent and less complex way for investors to access the cryptocurrency markets.
Tracking the daily price movements of our highly liquid benchmark Bitcoin futures, these contracts offer an innovative, lower-cost way for investors to trade their views on Bitcoin’s up or down price movements.”
bitcoin and CME Group, which makes innovative moves regarding crypto coins, also last August. Bitcoin Euro and Ethereum (ETH) Euro announced the launch of its futures trading.
