AMD released the Adrenaline 23.7.1 WHQL driver on Thursday. The new AMD graphics card update adds some Vulkan API extensions and fixes a few issues. Here are the details of AMD Software Adrenalin 23.7.1 WHQL update.
AMD released new driver update
The new driver update from AMD offers Vulkan-based accelerated video decoding for H.264 and H.265 formats, along with 8 other extensions including Khronos and Valve. The drivers also promise to improve the idle power and multi-monitor power consumption of the RX 7000 series GPUs.
Sub-optimal VR performance with Adrenaline 23.7.1 WHQL, stuttering noticed on RX 7000 series GPUs, and DaVinci Resolve Studio application crash with AV1 video playback are also stated to have been fixed. The new driver also fixes image distortions noticed in WWE 2K23 and Nioh 2.

- Intermittent corruption when playing WWE 2K23 on some AMD Graphics Products such as Radeon RX 7900 XTX
