The trailer is most likely about Shiba Inu’s much-talked-about metaverse project.
The team had recently partnered with The Third Floor (TTF), one of the world’s leading visualization studios, which has worked on blockbuster Marvel movies such as “Wonder Woman” and “Avengers”.
The company will be responsible for the creation of virtual environments for the upcoming metaverse project.
On July 20, the SHIB Twitter account posted another trailer showing palm trees during the storm. In response to this trailer, gaming veteran William Volk tweeted that “something” was coming.
Volk, who served as vice president of technology at California-based video game publisher Activision, joined the SHIB team as a consultant in November.
Earlier this month, altcoin Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer behind it, also hinted at a new stablecoin that will be part of the meme coin’s ecosystem.
Project rollout could happen as early as 2022. Kusama also revealed that the project has succeeded in recruiting new developers who will be responsible for the redesign of Shiba Inu’s web portals.
In response to the trailer, many community members started asking questions about Shibarium, but it remains unclear when the much-anticipated layer-2 solution will become available.
