Universal Music Group announced that they will create a digital identity for Rihanna, Migos and more artists by signing a deal with Genies Company. In addition to creating digital versions, clothes and accessories can also be bought and sold as NFT.
This collaboration is made to give Universal artists an official virtual identity for the metaverse.
Previously, Universal Group had asked the Genius Company to make avatars of artists for different artists, including Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendes.
In the coming months, users will be able to buy and sell virtual goods through NFT, created and operated by Genius.
