MrBeast rejected Elon Musk’s offer to produce content on X because it would never surpass YouTube’s revenue potential. According to the YouTube star, the money Musk offered is never enough to switch platforms.
MrBeast, who can be called the king of YouTube with a subscriber count of 225 million, rejected the technology giant Elon Musk’s offer to ‘Come share your videos on X’ and underlined that he would stay on YouTube.
The rejection stems from MrBeast’s belief that, despite Musk’s desire to make X an all-encompassing app, Google-owned YouTube cannot match its high-revenue portfolio.
This past weekend, 25-year-old MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, uploaded his latest video for his massive YouTube following. Despite the massive backlash, an X user urged him to consider streaming on the platform as well. Musk himself has also stepped in, expressing his desire to make the platform the “Everything app.”
