Many readers say that there are scooters for this new model of BMW. But the truth of the matter is not exactly like that. BMW did not release this model either as a motorcycle or scooter. It was launched with the name eParkourer, mostly between these two model names. This may stand out as a marketing tactic, but it is clear that it has given the industry a new name.
Ideal for city use, the BMW CE 02 says it has a range of over 55 miles for its 11 kW version and a top speed of around 99 miles per hour. This means a range of 88 kilometers in km and a maximum speed of 160 kilometers per hour. Looking at the data, it is obvious why there are no scooters. Because, as you know, scooters are forbidden to go on highways. However, when we look at the CE 02 data, we see that there is no problem in getting on the highways.

The CE 02 model price list starts at $7,599. The larger, more powerful and longer-range CE 04 model has a price tag of 12,700 dollars. The point to be noted here is that the CE 02 model has all the necessary qualifications when looking at its technical data. Especially when you consider a motorcycle to be used in the city.
However, the event we call electric motorcycle has to include conditions such as long distances. That’s why the CE 04 model is actually a real electric motorcycle. The CE 02 is neither an electric bike nor a scooter nor a motorcycle. It had to be positioned between the scooter and the motorcycle, and this was called the eParkourer. The model is expected to go on sale in the spring of 2024.
