MIT established the Cyber ​​Intelligence Directorate!

National Intelligence Agency (MYTH), in order to strengthen its activities in the field of cyber security Cyber ​​Intelligence Department created a new unit called Presidential; will work to ensure Turkey’s security against threats such as cyber attacks, cyber espionage and cyber propaganda.

With the statement made by the MIT, the Cyber ​​Intelligence Presidency was officially established. This institution, which will be the follower of Turkey in the digital world, will undertake tasks such as preventing cyber attacks and developing cyber defense capacity.

MIT previously carried out its activities in the field of cyber security under the umbrella of the Electronic/Technical Intelligence Presidency. The newly established Cyber ​​Intelligence Directorate will carry out its activities in this field in a more effective and coordinated manner.

The main duties of the Presidency will include collecting, analyzing and evaluating cyber intelligence, preventing cyber attacks. With the establishment of the Cyber ​​Intelligence Presidency, Turkey will be in a stronger position against cyber threats.

The new institution, which will work under the MIT, will also undertake the task of solving crypto communication and encrypted messaging applications. In this regard, it will ensure the safety of users by coordinating the operations carried out in the social media and digital world.
