McAfee, which produces security software, has recently issued a warning against malicious software that threatens Android devices and has already been downloaded more than 20 million times. This application can cause different problems.
Malicious people have different methods to gain illegally. One of these methods seems to be trouble-free. harmful apps to gain an advantage by publishing, in ways that vary according to the method they choose. One of these methods is to use clicker software to generate advertising revenue.
McAfee in a blog post, so far more than 20 million times revealed that some applications with downloads also serve these purposes. In total, this malware was found in 16 applications.

- Smart Task Manager (com.james. SmartTaskManager)
Applications with clicker software, seemingly simple and useful appear as tools. After a while, such applications allow to earn illegal income by running ads in the background in a way that the user does not see. This too of the battery to end quickly, your hardware causes more load.
Also, these apps Android update or other malicious software can be downloaded by sending notifications as if it is another application update. This can cause different problems.
McAfee on the subject Google and while explaining that they have informed the relevant people, the applications have been removed from the Google store.
