billionaire investor Mark Cubanangered Cardano (ADA) holders by stating that Dogecoin (DOGE) is a more viable option for payments than ADA.
Replying to a thread on Twitter, Cuban had 8.8 million followers. cardanoHe shared a comment stating that while Dogecoin is able to run more applications on the blockchain, Dogecoin currently provides more benefits.
“The important thing is the expectations in the token. Why spend it on food or rent if you think it will always increase? The ADA gives you 1,000 reasons why it will rise. Dogecoin, on the other hand, is moving through the community and wants to rise.”
The Shark Tank star thinks these terms are mostly exaggerated, despite the fact that Cardano is capable of a higher transaction per second (TPS) and also has a larger total value locked value (TVL).
According to Cuban, only time will tell which blockchain has the best utility and who will likely develop this “game-changing” app that could be on any number of chains. Cuban stated that the competition in question is not limited to the crypto space, but there is a great competition in the non-crypto space as well.
According to Cuban, it is not easy for users to quit these existing habits, so changing a habit is critical.
“The maximalists will be maximalists. Dealing with BTC or ADA or other maximalists (including Dogecoin) is a great sport. But it doesn’t change anything. We have not yet seen this application that changes the rules of the game. But when we do, we will all know because everyone we know will tell us to use it.”
