Marilyn Manson (52) relies on shock effects musically. But everyday life at the side of the scandal musician must have been pure horror for many of his women.
After a total of 15 women, including model Ashley Morgan Smithline (36), US actress Evan Rachel Wood (33) and GoT star Esmé Bianco (38), filed massive allegations of abuse against the shock rocker in May, new unearthed horrific horror details about Manson.
Like the American music magazine “The Rolling Stone” reports, Marilyn Manson is said to have locked his friends in a small, soundproof room again and again. As a punishment for allegedly behaving “badly”. The authors found this out in conversations with a total of 55 people.
The tiny cabin is said to have been in his apartment in Los Angeles (USA). A previous tenant built the narrow glass case, lined with foam for sound insulation, in a corner of the room to produce music. Manson is said to have used it for the psycho-torture chamber. He called it the “Bad Girls Room” (German: room of bad girls).
Some of the women he locked up there for hours. Their screams were muffled by the foam. From the personal stories of the victims it becomes clear that behind the carefully cultivated shock rocker myth there was “a monster in sight”, according to “The Rolling Stone”.
“He always mentioned this room in a joking, boastful tone,” Warner’s former assistant Ashley Walters is quoted as saying. Walters also accuses her former boss of sexual assault. And the existence of the Chamber of Horrors was well known. “If someone is angry, I can lock them up there, and it’s soundproof,” Manson is reported to have bragged to a magazine in 2012. But nobody did anything about it.
In May 2021, Ashley Morgan Smithline told People Magazine that he had locked her in this room when she “upset” him. “At first he made it sound cool,” says Smithline, “then he made it sound very punitive. Even if I screamed, nobody would hear me. “
The model Sarah McNeillye also told Instagram about the horror room in February: “I was emotionally abused, terrorized and scarred. I was locked in rooms when I was ‘angry’, sometimes I was forced to listen to him having fun with other women. “
In the current interview, the women refer to the apartment itself as a “black refrigerator”. Carpets, furniture, and decorations were black, as were the curtains he used to darken the light from every window for almost 24 hours a day. The temperature was kept ice cold. If someone turned the thermostat above 18 degrees, Manson is said to have had tantrums.
Brutal violence, bizarre sex games, physical abuse, psychological terror – all these torments that the women allegedly suffered from Manson are said to have taken place in this apartment.

Manson himself has not yet commented on the latest allegations. He had rejected the multiple allegations of rape and sexual abuse as “terrible distortions of reality”. According to a statement by his lawyer, he “vehemently denies any allegations of sexual assault or abuse of persons”.
In February he commented on Instagram: “Obviously my life and my art have long been a magnet for controversy, but these recent claims about me are terrible distortions of reality.”
