Apple shared iOS and iPadOS 17.4 Release Candidate (RC) updates in recent weeks. New updates focusing on security and accessibility for iPhones and iPads have finally been rolled out to other Apple devices. In this context macOS 14.4, watchOS 10.4, visionOS 1.1 and tvOS 17.4 RC versions have been published.
What does macOS 14.4 RC bring?
The Release Candidate package is considered the final beta before Apple releases new software to the general public. This allows developers to put the software through rigorous testing first. At this stage, no new features are expected and the focus is on fixing bugs found in previous betas.
