Making a statement about the crypto money meeting in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, which was held today and ended at around 18.00, AK Party Group Deputy Chairman Mustafa Elitaş conveyed the titles of the meeting.
Expressing that the law will be enacted as soon as possible, Elitaş stated that taking into account the concerns of crypto money participants about the draft text, changes can be made accordingly in the future.
Continuing his words, Elitaş:
We plan to prepare a text that can keep up with the changes. Since the crypto money market is developing all the time, if we define crypto money assets with what we see today, we may have problems with the changes that will come out tomorrow. For example, virtual land started to be bought and sold in the NFT sector. For this reason, if we introduce crypto money as a savings or investment tool, we will put it in a narrow mold. For this reason, we think that there should be a broader definition.
Touching on the tax issue, Elitaş stated that the participants were also of the opinion that taxation should be done and they gave examples from countries such as England. He also mentioned that taxation is the subject of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.
Expressing that they are evaluating the issue of how the system will work comfortably, Mustafa Elitaş said, “When we say let’s do something good with the items we put in, we try not to do anything bad. said.
Finally, to the question about foreign exchanges, which is highly anticipated and actually interests many people:
They expressed their reservations about whether or not access to foreign exchanges will be blocked. There is a concern that it will go beyond legal protection in case of transactions outside the concessionary institutions. We tried to explain it. After examining them a little more, they will probably say that they agree with us. Actually, our goals are the same. They expressed their concerns with the articles they presented as only the draft text, and we took note of them.” said
