The iPhone 14 family, introduced last week, came up with a new problem. iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max users reported that their device had a camera flickering problem.
Stating that there are problems on platforms such as Twitter, Reddit and TikTok, iPhone 14 Pro users complain that the camera of the device is not stable when shooting video. Apple has not yet made any statement about the problem.
iPhone 14 Pro owners experience camera flickering
The main lens on the iPhone 14 Pro models features “second generation” sensor-shift optical image stabilization. It is estimated that the camera shaking problem on social media platforms is caused by software.
YouTuber Luke Miani announced that he experienced the problem on the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which he tested. Miani shared a video showing the main lens on the device flickering uncontrollably, and said that the incident caused the lens to fail to focus properly on subsequent uses, even in the iPhone’s camera app. Miani stated that he took the iPhone to an Apple Store and they replaced the device with a new one.
Apple has failed in file transfer speed
iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max users have criticized Apple for the speed of the Lightning connector.
Until the problem is resolved, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max owners are advised not to use the camera in applications such as Snapchat, TikTok and Instagram to prevent damage to the rear camera system. It is not yet known when the company will release the new software update regarding the problem.
iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are powered by the Apple A16 Bionic processor. The processor has two performance and four efficiency cores. According to Apple’s claim, the A16 Bionic has 40 percent higher performance than its competitors. It is also stated that high-performance cores consume 20 percent less power compared to the A15 Bionic processor.
