Frankfurt The German share index Dax started the week with slight price gains. Supported by the positive development on the US stock exchanges and the Asian trading centers, the barometer remained slightly positive in the morning and was quoted at 14,478 points.
On Tuesday, the leading German index was able to gain a good percent. In the US, stocks gained significant ground on Tuesday. Technology stocks in particular were in demand, with the Nasdaq index rising by around two percent. The prospect of a potentially steeper-than-expected rate hike by the US Federal Reserve also buoyed financials.
