Instagram has started testing two new features that both make stalkers happy and increase subtitle support. In this sense, the feature of enlarging the Instagram profile photo becomes even more functional. An important update for Instagram subtitle support, which most of us are unaware of, is also in the testing phase.
Update is coming for Instagram profile photo enlargement and caption feature
Instagram, owned by Meta, introduced the profile photo enlargement feature last year. Last month, Instagram gave users the opportunity to turn this feature on or off. Now, the Instagram profile photo enlargement feature is becoming much more functional. Accordingly, you will now have the opportunity to enlarge your profile photo much more.
Alessandro Paluzzi, who has previously leaked new features for Instagram, shared a post about the new profile photo enlargement feature on his X account. Accordingly, users will be able to zoom in on the profile photo by clicking on it and enlarging it with two fingers.
In this sense, disabling the profile photo enlargement feature to certain people is currently in the testing phase. Although enlarging the profile photo as much as desired increases security concerns, it is also possible to open it only to your followers or close friends. Again, you can turn off the feature completely if you want.
Instagram is also working on auto-translation for its caption feature. In this sense, it is possible to add subtitles for Instagram Reels videos from the settings. However, as you might expect, these subtitles are only in English. It is likely that this automatic translation is supported by artificial intelligence. However, the details of the feature have not been revealed yet.
Instagram also continues to experiment with other new features. In this sense, a feature that we can call a public collection is also in the trial phase. Thus, you will be able to collect the reels, photos and posts you have saved on Instagram and share them with people. Private accounts will have the opportunity to share these collections only with their own followers.
Another attempt by Instagram is the Fitness sticker. The social media application has not introduced a new sticker for a long time. It is currently unknown whether this sticker has a feature other than being used in sports posts.
