Allowing users to share photos only through the application camera, BeReal prevents editing of photos. However, you need to share your environment and yourself in the same frame.

BeReal, which has risen in a short time, has been caught on Meta’s radar. Aiming to enable users to produce more intimate content, Meta launched its feature called Candid Stories on both Facebook and Instagram.

Instagram’s new update isn’t just limited to Candid Stories. The company will encourage users to collaborate with the Add Yours and Collaborative Collections update. When you add a picture with the Add Yours feature, you will be able to tell your friends that you want them to share the photo. With Collaborative Collections, users will be able to share a collection of posts with a friend or group based on common interests.

Meta announced that it is testing the new features on Instagram and Facebook, and users can opt out if they don’t want to participate. Instagram will add its own interpretation to Facebook’s Groups feature and present it to users. Group Profiles will allow participants to contribute to posts, stories and more.
