Frankfurt The rental market is coming back into focus: because it is unclear how real estate prices in Germany will develop in the near future, many interested parties and investors are opting for rental apartments. Realtors and housing companies are reporting that they are receiving more inquiries about rental properties – and rents are already rising.
“Rents, especially for properties that are new to rent, will go up due to inflation,” predicts Tomas Peeters, head of the Hamburg mortgage broker Baufi24.
In his opinion, the real estate market is on the move – and that should then also have an impact on the rental yield that can be achieved by investing in a rental apartment.
