After giving information about our video, let’s talk about this special guest. This Mercedes-Benz E 500 with German license plates is a 30-year-old car. However, if we say that it does not show its age at all, it would be correct. Our car, named E 500 Limited Edition, is named with the “w124” body code within Mercedes-Benz.

How does the togg-taking process work? ShiftDelete.Net editor Samet Jankovic made an interview with Togg owner Gurbet Kınıs.

It should also be noted that, regardless of the E 500 model, the most robust cars ever produced are produced with the “w124” body code. Our vehicle is called the E 500 and it was produced in a limited number of 500 units at that time. The automobile was put forward to compete with other brands in the American market in the first place. For this reason, it was desired to enlarge the engine volume of the car and an engine with a “v8” arrangement was used in the E 500 model.

As you can imagine, this engine was quite large and a “w124” chassis produced for European roads did not fit in the Mercedes. However, Porsche stepped in on this issue as well. The mudguards and transmission tunnel of the vehicle were enlarged compared to the normal 124 frames, allowing the engine to fit inside. You can learn the rest of the details and what you wonder about in the language of Doğan Kabak and Hakkı Alkan in our video.
