Dusseldorf Sooner or later it comes up in every job interview: the question of salary expectations. HR managers often also inquire about what a candidate earns from their current employer. In this way, they want to set the framework for the subsequent negotiation.

Applicants have to make a decision: should they answer the question honestly, gracefully refuse an answer – or lie to get more money? The Handelsblatt asked three experts for their tips for this situation. Here they explain how to react well.
