In our country’s education system, single education takes place between 09.00-15.00, and double education takes place between 07.00-18.30. The number of students who attend dual education between 07.00-09.00 and are affected by the fixed time application corresponds to approximately 20 percent of the total number of students. However, regarding the fixed time application, the European Parliament On March 26, 2019 “With the accepted proposal, it recommended that member countries switch to a single hour practice.”

The savings we have achieved in the 7-year period since the implementation started has reached 10 billion kilowatt-hours. According to the 2022 electricity consumption data announced by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Turkey spent 331.1 Terawatt hours of energy in 2022. So our annual consumption is 311 billion 100 million kilowatt-hours is happening.
