How bosses bind their employees to the company

Dusseldorf For bosses, this year’s “Engagement Index” from market researcher Gallup has good and bad news in store. The good thing: The number of highly motivated people in Germany remained stable in the second year of the corona virus. 17 percent state that they have a high emotional bond with their employer. The top value from 2020 could therefore also be maintained in 2021.

The bad news, however, is that Germany’s employees are apparently threatening to be unfaithful to their employers in large numbers. According to Gallup, 14 percent of all employees are actively looking for a job.

More than a quarter look around for a new job at least occasionally. And every third employee has been approached by headhunters in the past few months – a doubling within two years.
