A look behind the scenes of one of the largest fashion houses in the world – soon on the big screen. “House of Gucci” has now celebrated its premiere in London.
A film with a cast that is at least as exciting as the history of the Italian family dynasty: alongside Lady Gaga (35), Salma Hayek (55), Al Pacino (81), Jared Leto (49) and Adam Driver (37) play with.
Lady Gaga plays Patrizia Reggiani, better known in Italy as the “Black Widow” because she hired a contract killer to have her ex-husband Maurizio Gucci killed.
A role that Lady Gaga (three-time Oscar winner!) Demanded a lot – also psychologically.
In a recent interview with the British “Vogue”, the American star with Italian roots says that she has stepped into her role as Reggiani, that she has lost touch with reality.
Lady Gaga admits in the interview: “At some point towards the end of the shooting I had psychological difficulties.”
Gaga continues: “I was either in my hotel room and lived and spoke as Reggiani, or I was on the set, lived and spoke as her.”
During a private walk in Italy, Gaga panicked because she could no longer distinguish between the film set and reality.
Ridley Scott directed “House of Gucci”. The film starts on December 2nd in Germany.
