A new report by cryptocurrency exchange eToro examines projects that have gained popularity among altcoin investors this year.

According to data from its exchange, there was a wide variety of cryptocurrencies that have grown rapidly since last year. Decentraland, the first altcoin on the list, registered a staggering 437% increase in the number of investors on eToro compared to the third quarter of last year. The Metaverse coin skyrocketed from $0.78 to $5.48 in the same time frame.
Decentraland (MANA) is a blockchain-based metaverse project. It still trades in the top 50 cryptos with a market cap of over $1 billion. But with more and more competitors in this area, it will be interesting to watch Decentraland’s progress.
Second on the list is the Shiba Inu with strong growth of 269%. SHIB, which crossed the $41 billion market cap at its peak, is now 87% behind. Enjin (ENJ) rounds out the list in 3rd place. It was remarkable that it gained such popularity as a gaming token.
