But today it introduced the GTX 1630 series, which we have been seeing for a long time with various leaks on its features and price, and which the players have been eagerly awaiting.
GTX 1630 features and price have been announced!
NVIDIA’s inexpensive graphics card was introduced today, as expected. The GTX 1630 has confirmed the leaks in terms of its features. Although it is positioned as the entry-level model of the company, it does not seem to satisfy the players who expect performance.
The GTX 1630 uses the Turing architecture from TSMC’s 12 nm process, just like last year’s models. The graphics card, which is positioned at the entry level, has 512 CUDA cores. The bandwidth is 96 GB/s, the memory bus is 64-bit. It also comes with 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM running at 12Gbps. When we look at the power consumption values, we see that it is 75 TDP.
AMD announces Ryzen Embedded R2000 series
AMD, which has made a great attack in recent years, made some statements about the Threadripper Pro 5000 WX and Ryzen Embedded R2000 series.
When we look at the clock speeds, we see that it works at 1740 GHz. Boost speeds are not as high as expected. Because it can only go up to 1785 GHz. But models from different manufacturers such as MSI, Asus and Evga will give much more.
When we compare it with the current cards sold in Turkey, we can say that models such as the GTX 1050, 1050 Ti, 1650 and 1650 will give a much lower performance. Although it does not lag behind in clock speeds or even surpasses some, it shows that it is a complete entry-level model in other issues such as the lack of DLSS support.
The price of the GTX 1630 was announced as $ 169 in China, but when we subtract the taxes, it becomes $ 150 net. This comes to roughly around 3 thousand to 3 thousand 500 TL with the taxes in Turkey and the changing dollar rate. In other words, although it is suitable for abroad, it remains above the desired level here.
Of course, at this price, it is possible to find graphics cards such as GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti at the moment. Therefore, NVIDIA will have to bring this card by reducing its own profit margin.
