Shiba Inu DaVinci, one of the important names of the community, shared a comment regarding a Shibarium detail containing 25,000,000,000 SHIB. DaVinci expects these tokens to be burned starting next week.
DaVinci took to Telegram to answer numerous questions from the community about when billions of SHIB will be transferred to non-spendable wallets and locked there, i.e. burned.
According to its statement, the SHIB team is working hard to organize token burns and they can happen at any time. DaVinci advised the community to “keep calm” because “everything needs to happen the right way.”
As Koinfinans.com reported, the Shiba Inu team activated a system to perform cremations automatically. However, the tokens mentioned in the news are not included in this automatic system. This means burns have to be done manually by a developer.
This week, the Layer-2 blockchain Shibarium showed a staggering increase in the number of transactions as it broke through several highs: First 80 million, then 90 million, and finally the total number of transactions made on it exceeded 100 million.
