Learning artificial intelligence at the age of 7!

Vodafone targets 400,000 young people aged 7-14 with the “Stars of Artificial Intelligence” project carried out together with Habitat Association. The project aims to introduce young people to the fascinating world of artificial intelligence, raise awareness in this field of technology and improve their skills. With the training they receive, young people will gain knowledge about productive artificial intelligence technologies and lay a solid foundation for their future careers.

Vodafone Chief Executive Officer Engin Aksoy shared the details of the project. Inspired by the Coders of Tomorrow Project, this new initiative is structured to appeal to two age groups. While basic training will be provided to the 11-14 age group, more in-depth learning opportunities will be provided for the 14-18 age group. By introducing modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, Python, mBlock, ChatGPT, the program aims to make students close to technology and develop their imagination.

The training content is created by a committee consisting of academics who are experts in their fields, industry representatives and students. Teachers taking part in the project will also be able to guide young people more effectively by receiving training. After basic training, students will be able to reinforce their knowledge by participating in project-based training.

Vodafone’s comprehensive project aims not only to introduce young people to the world of artificial intelligence, but also to open future job opportunities for them. After these trainings, young people in the 14-17 age group will have the opportunity to develop their skills in artificial intelligence projects, which have an important place in the business world.

Engin Aksoy stated that artificial intelligence has begun to be used in all areas of society and that companies have been investing in artificial intelligence for a long time to ensure efficiency. Aksoy stated that it is important for students to improve in this field and prepare for the future. “Today, artificial intelligence has begun to be used in marketing, media, education and many other fields. “With this project, we aim to help young people develop their imagination and get a head start on the future,” he said.

Vodafone aims to reach thousands of young people in 81 provinces, introduce them to the future of technology and provide them with basic training that will guide them in this field.
