Internet infrastructure was established on the M2 metro line
It is stated that the internet infrastructure, which is currently operating only on the M2 metro line, will be used in other lines with the investments and studies to be made. Internet usage in the metro is expected to occur for other lines in the very near future.
The project, which was first put into operation on the M2 line, will also be a good test process on one of Istanbul’s busiest metro lines. Thus, before the internet infrastructure is installed on other lines, the conditions of use of the infrastructure on the M2 metro line will provide feedback.
With the new investment, the people of Istanbul will be able to continue to access the internet underground during their journey between Yenikapı and Hacıosman. Although there is no clear information about internet speed and usage quota yet, a smooth and efficient use is expected.
