GIFs and Polls Come to Threads!

Mark Zuckerberg announced that GIF and poll features have been added to Threads. The platform, which is approaching 100 million monthly users, is slowly becoming a serious competitor to X.

Meta’s X (Twitter) rival platform Threadscontinues to add innovations to the application. The platform had recently introduced the paid post editing feature in X. Today, it added the features we saw in its rival.

Mark Zuckerberg joined the platform from his Threads account poll and GIF feature announced his arrival. Users will now be able to create posts with GIFs and polls to get other participants’ opinions.

GIFs, which can be included in both replies and posts, will be used by pressing the “GIF” icon that will appear in the sharing section. When you click here you will see from Giphy GIFs will appear. For now, surveys that only appear on mobile will be used with the survey icon added to the post sharing section. Threads will let you create up to four options in polls.
