The Washington, DC-based company recently won a tender from the Department of Defense to study crypto security risks.

Adam Zarazinski, CEO of Inca Digital In a program he attended on Friday, he said:

“While there are national security issues, there is broad acceptance in the US that promoting crypto innovation, pioneering startups, and not going abroad is a national security imperative.”

US Department of Defense Advanced Defense Research Projects Agency (DARPA)signed a contract with Inca Digital Federal for a project called “Mapping the Impact of Digital Financial Assets”.

Zarazinski said Inca will provide technology that can be used to identify risks to U.S. national security globally.

“These technological development work we do is actually to drive innovation in the United States,” Zarazinski added.

U.S. government agencies are concerned with the economic impact of crypto and Blockchain-based use cases in relation to illegal activities such as money laundering, hacking, and avoidance of sanctions.
