Giancarlo Esposito joins the Marvel universe!

Giancarlo Esposito, known for his role as Gus Fring in Breaking Bad, officially announced that he has joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Let’s take a look at the actor’s statements and which character he will portray in which movie.

Esposito, who starred in productions such as Parish, The Boys and Revolution, played the villain Moff Gideon in the TV series The Mandalorian for three seasons. Since then, Esposito’s desire to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been known. In particular, there were rumors of a potential role as Professor X in the X-Men reboot. Now, Esposito has finally confirmed that he’s joining the MCU, but his role is still a secret.

Esposito has stated that he will not be following in the footsteps of Patrick Stewart or James McAvoy, and has also hinted that he will not be starring as Professor X. He also suggested that he would be playing a character that has not been portrayed in a Marvel movie or TV series before.

“I can’t tell you I’m going to be Professor X. I can say that I will be an original character. We’ve seen different versions of Professor X. Would you like to see me playing a Marvel movie character as an original, new and fresh character? So mark my words: It will happen sooner than you think.”

Sony, which recently required opening a PSN account on PC, welcomed Helldivers 2 players. The company took a step back.

Assuming Esposito is referring to a Marvel movie currently in production or late production, we only have a handful of movies like Thunderbolts, Captain America: Brave New World, and The Fantastic Four. Additionally, there is a possibility that Esposito will appear in the TV series Daredevil: Born Again.
