We have come to the time of the year when we see Samsung’s newest leaks and renders. Galaxy Z Fold 6 appeared with leaked render images. Let’s take a look at the design together.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 appears angular in render images
New render images shared by OnLeaks via SmartPrix show that the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 has undergone a very slight design change. The first thing that attracts attention is the general shape. In the render leak, every corner of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is clearly visible and has much sharper edges than the previous model.
Galaxy Z Fold 5 had slightly rounded edges. Renderings of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 reveal that this model has a design inspired by the S24 Ultra or an old Galaxy Note.
The outer edges of the foldable screen are positioned in a square shape perpendicular to the phone. This gives the phone a more modern look by smoothing the edges, just like the S24 and S24+.
Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to be slightly wider than expected. It will be 153.5 x 132.5 mm in size. The difference in width is 2.6 mm on the side and 1.3 mm when folded. The Fold 6 looks slightly shorter, with a similar but less extreme difference. It appears to be the same thickness when open, at 6.1mm, and again there is no S Pen slot.
Previous leaks have stated that the Fold 6’s external display is likely to adjust its aspect ratio. If these new features and renders are accurate, it looks like this change may not be as significant as we expected. In the leaked images, the front screen looks slightly wider than on the Fold 5.
There are also rumors of a more affordable Galaxy Z Fold 6 variant. In this case, it is also possible that the device will offer the expected modified front screen image aspect ratio. Many things remain unclear at the moment, but details will become clear when Samsung introduces the Galaxy Z Fold 6 this year.
