According to the information received, Turkey’s revaluation rate for 2024 was determined as 58.46 percent. According to this calculated revaluation rate, increases will be applied to many issues, from inspection fees to traffic fines and IMEI registration fees. According to the announced rate, the most affected issue was IMEI registration fees.
According to the information received, with the new rate of 58.46 percent, the lowest radar fine increased from 951 lira to 1506.95 TL. However, there is also an increase in the penalty rates at the upper limits of the radar penalties. Subsequently, there was an increase in the inspection fees that passenger cars have to have every two years and commercial vehicles have to have every year.

Accordingly, the inspection fee for passenger cars increased from 1149.60 TL to 1821.66 TL. The inspection fee of 1554 TL for trucks and buses increased to 2 thousand 462 TL, and the inspection fee of 585.60 TL for tractors (with or without a trailer), motorcycles and mopeds increased to 927 TL.
With the latest increase in passport fees, passport fees are as follows:
- Passport fee for those up to 6 months is 1639.35 TL
- Passport fee for 1 year is 2 thousand 396 TL
- Passport fee for 2 years is 3 thousand 912 TL
- Passport fee for 3 years is 4 thousand 845 TL
- Passport fee for those valid for more than 3 years is 7 thousand 833 TL
As for IMEI registration fees, the passport registration fee, which was 20 thousand TL recently, has increased to 31 thousand 692 TL.
