iCloud Private Relay service bypasses firewall
Private Relay, which is stated to ignore firewall rules, sends some device information to Apple servers. It is not yet known what information the issue, uncovered by VPN service Mullvad, sends. Security researchers state that hackers can access device information due to this security vulnerability.
Mullvad developers found that devices using the Private Relay service generate QUIC traffic even when the feature is turned off. Making a statement on the subject, the company stated that this problem can be solved by disabling the Private Relay service.
