Verstappen becomes world champion for the second time
Max Verstappen was quite superior in the race, which started again about two hours later than normal and could run 29 laps due to adverse weather conditions. The 25-year-old therefore finished the race in first place, 26.7 seconds ahead of the second-placed name. This victory for the Dutch driver was the 12th of the season and the 32nd of his career. Due to the full points at the end of the race, Max Verstappen is Formula 1 world champion for the second consecutive year it happened.
In the last episode, the two names fighting for the second place Charles Leclerc and it was Sergio Perez. Leclerc finished the race in second place while Perez took third place. However, the struggle between the two in the last corners was examined on the grounds that Leclerc had an advantage. As a result, Leclerc was given a five-second time penalty. This put Perez in 2nd place and Leclerc in 3rd place.
