Acting star Til Schweiger (58) was born in Freiburg. It’s clear that he’s hoping for a victory for the Breisgau team in the sports club’s cup final against RB Leipzig (Saturday, 8 p.m.).
Schweiger to BILD: “Of course I keep my fingers crossed for SC Freiburg! Very solid!
He is particularly enthusiastic about coach Christian Streich (56), who has been training the SC professionals for eleven years and is now at the peak of his work.
“I’m a huge fan of Pranks. I just think he’s great! How long he’s been there and what great troops he keeps putting together with a small, tight budget,” he explains.
Schweiger cannot watch the game in the stadium due to the preparations for “Manta Manta 2”. In the event of a win, however, he would like to congratulate Streich – and even personally.
“I haven’t met Streich in person yet. Of course, I would like to congratulate Streich if someone contacts me.”
But first the cup has to be brought to Breisgau on Saturday!
